Storm Clouds

Last Friday it was stormy weather. Especially at the cost where it was very hard to walk.

The real reason I took this picture is this weeks VFXY theme Storm Clouds. In Belgium clouds normally don't look spectacular when it's very windy but after many trials I got something which might be worthwhile to show.

TECH-INFO: I took one RAW image, exposed to the right to record as much as possible data. Because of the lack of contrast I processed it using Photomatrix and DxO Optics Pro to enhance details and contrasts. The visual result is a much more dramatic just like the real feeling I had while trying to walk near the beach.

Good decision to keep the horizon low; really emphasizes those dramatic clouds

All those ions in the air hwen it's stormy. Never can remember whether they are negative or positive. But I'll remember this image Paul.

This is a beautiful picture, I have been through your archive and I am impressed by your work.
Clouds are fascinating, I look in the sky so often these days.
