Merry Christmas to all of you!

A possible typical image for this time of the year. You make guess what is it is. Close to the top left you see a Christmas bal hanging in the tree.


TECH-INFO: switched on some lamps in the room, used my Lensbaby Composer at aperture f/2.0 and ISO400 to make the exposure time not to long.
I focused properly to reveal not too many details :-)
Processing was a bit of a pain in the neck. Initially I loaded the RAW file in Adobe Camera RAW, but the colors were getting too different (especially the red and orange colors). After tweaking a lot in ACR, I was happy but when saving the result the colors were wrong again. Anyone an idea why?
I started over by converting the RAW file in Nikon View NX to a TIFF file. Loaded it in Photoshop, boosted the contrast and vibrance and added a little vignetting. Finally saved the result to a JPF file. The colors looked much better though not 100% the same as in Photoshop.
During the process I worked the whole time in sRGB color space. It looks like I have problems with my colors. It's fustrating because I work hard on the colors and after saving the result they get changed or lost somehow. Anybody having similar experiences?
