Christmas Lights in Brugge

During Christmas the med evil city Brugge is always very nicely decorated, just like in a fairy tale.
But this image is shot in February 2007. They left the Christmas tree, all the lights and other ornament for the recordings of the Hollywood movie In Bruges. At that moment they were shooting at the other side of the market. Taking pictures of crew was prohibited.

The movie is full of very beautiful images of Brugge during the winter. Really worthwhile to see. Despites this film is very funny in the beginning, the end is too dramatic and pointless.

It is like a fairy tale, beautiful shot, I love those gevelstenen huizen, I have seen the movie, I did not wait to see the end of it, I know what you meant.

Nice shot. It's interesting how the lighted outlines of the buildings make them appear 2-dimensional. Love the rich detail in and on the buildings. A nice shot.

This is a very good photo!
Lots of details, interesting scene, the nice lighted house fronts towards the black background.
We liked this very much!
