photoblog image Brugge - By Night - Church

Brugge - By Night - Church

One of the beautiful old churches in the Medieval city Brugge.

TECH-INFO: A long shutter time and a very low ISO to prevent noise are the key. In LR4 I pushed the blacks and shadows to reveal all details in the shadows. Even the stars became visible. The colors come from setting the white-balance to 2300K (= set for candle light, adds lots of blues) so the lights of the street around me, which light the lower parts, get interpreted as cold light. The higher part of the church was luckily lit by warmer light.
