One of our hard disks started getting corrupted sectors at work. So we removed it from our server (replaced by a new one, and copied the data of our back up archive, so we only lost a few hours of data). Since we were pretty curious, one of us opened the case of the hard disk. I got it home to take a couple of shot for my photo blog.
TECH-INFO: a macro lens and tripod. I was experimenting to get a nice POV. RAW converted in DxO Optics Pro. I set the white balance around 15000K (and tint to green) to get this warmer colors. Also toning was set to Sepia Terra. In Photoshop I enhanced the metal details even more: using various contrast enhancement layers and the high pass filter.
