Shot at a reception of a school. I noticed behind the bar crates filled with empty bottles of orange juice. I liked the patterns so I decided to take a shot. It took a while before I got a nice composition. Of course people were surprised why I was photographing such a banal subject.
TECH-INFO: a normal lens (35mm in DX format or 50mm in FX/35mm format), a wide open aperture and trying to reach a nice composition are the basic ingredients. After RAW conversion I played with the contrasts in Photoshop. Mainly using dodging and burning techniques. For instance the sharp parts are brighter and others darker. I also partly desaturated it using the B/W tool. Afterwards I re-added color by increasing the saturation. It's a cool way for changing the mood and colors. Finally some vignetting is added. Enjoy!
