View from Szent Istvan Bazilika

Shot from the St. Stephen's Basilica in Budapest. It gives you a nice overview of Pest (one part of Budapest). See also previous post (click on the image).
There is a lot to see on the image, even some more surprising things :-)

TECH-INFO: totally similar as in the previous post, also 3 images for HDR processing.

Spectacular field of view Paul. Was this taken with a fisheye lens? Absolutely stunning details right down to the people in the street. Excellent in every respect.
LightningPaul: Many thanks John! Not a fish eye lens but the new 10-24mm Nikkor lens, which let you go extremely wide.

fantastic perspective Paul
LightningPaul: Thanks Zed smile
Great view Paul but quite vertigo inducing.
Interesting shot, Paul - I loved the fact that Pest had so many turn of the 20th century buildings left. Budapest under communism was too poor for too much destructive 'development' as we call it in the West!
