If you love modern architecture and you happen to be in Paris, then you have to visit La Defense, the business center of Paris. This was one of the them. The entrance had a big metal disc outside. It felt like a landed UFO... perhaps it was one.
TECH-INFO: one RAW file converted into a HDR file (by generating multiple JPG's in DxO Optics Pro and merging them in Photomatix). For tone-mapping I used Picturenaut: a fine freeware program for getting very natural looking results. If you have a fast computer then it tone-maps in real-time. For tone-mapping I used the bilateral method because the dynamic range of light was rather small. Afterwards in Photoshop I used a bunch of masked adjustment layers to add contrast, make colors stronger and to desaturate it using the B/W-tool. Also vignetting is added. I hope you like the result.
