Another image of the stairs in the oldest building in Europa College of Brugge, in Belgium. I posted another image two months ago.
TECH-INFO: a tripod, bubble level and cable release were used to capture this view. On my camera I'm using a L-plate bracket of Really Right Stuff. This makes it very handy to position your camera in portrait mode when working with a tripod. With the L-plate: switching between landscape and portrait camera positions gives you the same point of view (so no need to reposition the tripod and its height). Besides that, the weight of the camera is resting on my ball head instead of hanging aside.
Nine shots were taken, processed in DxO Optics Pro (for lens corrections to get straight lines), merged into a HDR file and tone-mapped in Photomatix. Afterwards processing done in Photoshop (mainly color, contrast and vignetting).
