A close up of a nice little boy with a cool red cap.
Except for the last two days, we only had rainy days the last month, in Belgium. Pretty depressing, so I hope this image can cheer us up a bit.
TECH-INFO: an ultra wide angle and on camera flash. I was so close to this boy that the light of the flash was not coming from the same axis of the lens. In other words it is a kind of off camera flash (you can see it clearly if you look at the eyes of the boy and at the shadow of the cap in his head). The sun is lighting the right side. During post processing I used the curves tool in Photoshop: mainly an own made preset where I use the luminosity blending mode, boost the contrast quite a bit, pull up the middle of the red tones and use a reverse contrast boost on the blue tones. Finally some vignetting is added.

funny and great execution, could have used a larges aperture?
LightningPaul: Many thanks Maarten. You're right, f/4 would have been better. Or I could have been blurring the background during PP (but normally prefer the first).
