Fireworks Festival 2009 #2


Another picture shot on the international fireworks festival in Knokke-Heist, Belgium. This is also from the group that came from Sweden. This annual show is a really amazing spectacle, all synchronized on music. Next year I certainly try to go back to take many more images.


TECH-INFO: I posted another image of these fireworks a month ago where I describe my experience of shooting fireworks. Everything is shot in RAW, converted to JPG using DxO Optics Pro. Besides cropping I only very slightly enhanced colors and removed a few trails of previous fireworks bombs, all in Photoshop.

wow. nice. its always difficult to photograph fireworks.
LightningPaul: Indeed, but when you get a great shot it's very rewarding.
Everyone seems to see something different smile -- for me, it's almost like feathers. Great detail, and wonderful colours!

Nice result... I'm sure you don't use firework setting of your camera! Beautiful pic for my eyes. My village also has its own festival fireworks... organized by firefighters...
