photoblog image Dome in Den Haag

Dome in Den Haag

This image is taken in a shopping gallery in Den Haag, in Holland. The dome was really looking fantastic. I like the architectural design a lot of this one. Enjoy!

Almost two weeks ago I posted an older kind of dome.

TECH-INFO: Five shots hand held. Lens corrected in DxO, auto aligned and merged into a HDR file in Photoshop and tone mapped in Photoshop. Afterwards I enhanced contrast and colors in Photoshop with the curves and color selective tool. Feel free to give any critics.

Impressive. The lighting works wonderfully here.
LightningPaul: Thanks, I'm also very glad with the lighting.
Stunning image! So many details. Love that tiny ladder at the very top. Wonder where all those windows on the sides lead to and what the view would be like from there. Great work,

P.S. Is it a safety net blocking the side galleries?
LightningPaul: Thanks Rod. All those sides are part of the galleries. The safety nets are not blocking anything, they are just hanging.
5 shots handheld? Wow! It must be a hard work to get it all aligned so well.
LightningPaul: Actually not at all, Photoshop does all the work. It's really amazing and easy too smile It mostly works very well, the few times it didn't do well, so I had to remove one or more shots. Sometimes it takes lots of time to calculate everything but that's ok because it's still faster than doing everything yourself manually.
Definitely a masterpiece. Excellent processing, love the details of this fascinating architectural design.
LightningPaul: Many thanks John. I'm very happy with this one too. Perhaps I should print it in large format.
