Three Cute Dogs


Shot in Blankenberge, Belgium, on the dike near the beach. It was so cute to see those dogs sitting comfortable in a push chair. I had to take an image, luckily these nice people agreed.


TECH-INFO: Converted the RAW file to JPG in DxO Optics Pro. I finally found the settings to keep the Nikon colors as close as possible. Still not exactly what I want but I'm already pretty happy. The default settings of DxO boost the contrast a lot, blocks the dark shadows and messes with the delicate red skin tones.
Afterwards In Photoshop I used my own contrast preset (described here), more curves and the color selective tool. Finally I added vignetting.

New way to take the dog for a walk good capture
LightningPaul: Yeah, when those ladies come home being very tired they are probably surprised why those dogs have plenty of energy, even after a very very very long walk smile
