A month ago I visited Ieper, a small city in Belgium with lots of surrounding cemeteries of soldiers died during the First World War. Many of them were British. Around the city there is an old wall protecting the city. While walking on that wall and facing the center I shot this image.
TECH-INFO: shot 5 images with each a stop difference, camera hand held. Lens corrections in DxO Optics Pro, merged them into HDR with Photoshop. Because there was a bit a wind there are lots of ghosting artifacts. To reduce them I removed two images, so I only kept the -2, 0 and +2 exposures. The resting movements don't disturb so much here. I tone mapped it in Photomatrix and enhance contrast and colors in Photoshop. Also rectangular vignetting is added. Enjoy the view!

Subject - composition - story still very interesting. I feel one of those video games based on the Second World War... Just miss some contrast, according to my screen (my screen haven't calibrated and first time using of Chrome on your photoblog)... Bravo.
