Shot in the port area of Boulogne-sur-Mer, North of France at the sea. This looks like a storage place inside a bunker. Perhaps something remaining of the second world war. The bullet holes are quite amazing.
TECH-INFO: I used my tripod, bubble level and cable release. The latter was probably not so useful because the wind was very hard at that moment. I had to hold my tripod steady with my hands. I shot 7 JPGs with each a stop difference.
As most of my images, I performed lens corrections in DxO Optics Pro. This is really necessary because there is quite some distortion when using the 12-24mm Nikon lens at its widest length. I merged the pictures into a HDR file in Photoshop. Then I corrected slightly the perspective and saved the result in a .EXR file. The HDR file, which I keep for some time in the future (when we'll all have HDR televisions), is tone mapped to a 16 bit TIFF in Photomatrix Pro. Afterwards I enhanced several parts using masked adjustment layers of the curves and color selective tool. Some corner vignetting is added too. Enjoy the result!
