A sweet little toddler enjoying the waffle so much, I just had to make a snapshot. Personally I like the special and clean looking colors. The parents of the toddler are as least as happy as me with this image :-)
TECH-INFO: I used my favorite prime lens, a 35mm, which yields almost the same crop as a 50mm on a full frame camera. I was shooting JPGs, as mostly. The image, due to not so good white balance had a green cast. In contrary to what many others claim, you still can do a lot of improvement with JPG files (I know ... with RAW you can do much more and with HDR even more). With the channel mixer I used mostly the red channel. This yields this nice clean, even a bit futuristic looking, colors. Also, as a nice side effect, it smoothens the skin a lot. Besides that I used a few layers of the curves and color selective tool, to make some local enhancements.

A lovely shot. I recently got my 50mm out. It's surprising just to remind myself how crisp primes are, like your image here, I love the soft look when wide open.
Great image
