City Hall of Den Haag Inside

During our last trip in Holland we also visited the city Den Haag. Really beautiful with lots of modern architecture. I really enjoyed it.

Here you see the city hall inside, which is huge. It was Saturday so nobody was working. This gave me the change of taking an image without any people. First we went to the eleventh floor where we had a superb overview. The sixth floor, as in this image, was a bit less impressive but more suitable  to photograph the dimensions of this building. This is probably one of most beautiful modern city halls I have ever seen.

TECH-INFO: The light contrast was a bit too high so I shot 5 pictures, all hand held. The program DxO Optics removed the lens corrections. Photoshop aligned and merged the shots into one HDR file. Photomatrix was used to tone-map it. Afterwards I used a few masked adjustment layers to enhance contrast and colors of certain areas. This image may look pretty white but everything inside was really like that. In contrary to many of my other images I added no vignetting.

LightningPaul: Thanks Simone!
I love all the lines
LightningPaul: Thanks Chantal.
wow, nice image
love the architecture and the lack of any bent lines....

Cheers
Rob
LightningPaul: Thanks Rob! I'm also very sensitive to bent lines. Especially so many lenses bend, so without correction they distract a lot.
Impressive shot.
LightningPaul: Many thanks!

Nice hi-key photo. Impressive combination of 5 handhold photos.
LightningPaul: Thanks! I'm also still amazed that Photoshop does align so well.
