Another shot in Barcelona. Near the casino at the sea you have a bunch of high and modern buildings. I took a couple of shots. This one has a simple but very intriguing style. Lots of beautiful shiny glass and metal. The reflections are amazing too see.
This picture is not one of the bests I took over there but I wanted to give it a try. The post processing enhanced the strong properties of this building. The patterns are special to watch. You can look over and over and notice more and more hidden treasures. Please let me know what you think about it.
TECH-INFO: hand held I took 5 JPG shots with each a stop difference. The high shutter speed and a very steady hand makes it easy to let Photoshop align them during merging into a HDR file. This process was really needed due to the too high contrasts of the mid day sun. Before that I first performed lens corrections in DxO Optics Pro. In Photomatrix I tone mapped it to a TIFF file. Afterwards in Photoshop I used various masked adjustment layers of the curves, HSL and selective color tool. This way I enhanced the glass/metal work and the sky slightly. Finally some vignetting is added.
DXO COUPONS: perhaps some of you remember that I posted in March a code to get 15% reduction when buying a license of DxO Optics Pro. Thanks to the two readers who used the code. I hope you have lots of fun using DxO. I got a nice voucher for on Amazon from DxO.
