Last weekend we visited the cities Delft, Den Haag and Scheveningen, in Holland. Great places to walk around and photograph all day. The pictures above shows the beach of Scheveningen. I was standing on the Pier. The beach in combination with the many lounge bars makes it the perfect place to fully relax. The bars are in the middle of the image but unfortunately too far away to see them easily.
TECH-INFO: it wasn't the best time to shoot pictures because the very high and strong sun. To cover the dynamic range of light I shot 7 images with each a stop difference. To obtain an ultra huge wide angle I used a fish lens. During the post processing DxO Optics Pro stretched the typical curved lines of a fish eye which yielded a panoramic view. In Photoshop I aligned and merged the images into a 32-bit HDR. Unfortunately there were still lots of cloning artifacts of which I removed mostly using the clone stamp. It's sad that most of the tools in Photoshop don't work in 32-bit mode like dodging/burning and spot healing brush. Afterwards I tone mapped it in Photomatrix and processed the sky and beach using adjustment layers in Photoshop. Mainly the sky got more blue and the beach a bit lighter with more contrast.

I know it will sounds totally unbelievable and freaky (even to me) but I had a dream about this place! I was totally shocked to see your photo because It's exactly how I saw it in my dream.
I know you can say if you saw on beach, you saw them all, but it's untrue.
For me, personally, it was a very interesting experience to see your photo
LightningPaul: Wow, do you want me to send a bigger (and improved) version of this image?
oh.. I miss beaches from the north sea.. I know I'm in sydney, I shouldn't complain but I already miss them. nice shot with this wide view!
LightningPaul: Please shoot a few ultra wide angle shots of the beaches in Sydney. I'm looking forward to them. Especially you manage well to compare with Belgium. Thanks for your comment and visit.
