The Old Attic Room
In some old houses you can find a pretty original attic. Here is one I photographed last week.
TECH-INFO: using a tripod, bubble level and camera release, I shot 9 JPGs with each a stop difference. It's quiet easy to do this using the bracket function of my camera, which most DSLRs have (or should have).
Behind me was a window providing some colder colored light from the sky. I set the white balance on sunny to stress out the warm light from the bulb.
All images where first lens corrected in DxO Optics Pro, then loaded in Photomatrix Pro and tone mapped. In Photoshop I enhanced the overall contrast as well the contrast of several parts like the door, the roof and material hanging on the right. The blues at the left are enhanced using the selective color tool. Finally I added a rectangular vignette.
UPDATE: I
submitted this one on JPG Magazine for the theme house.
