Carnaval Zeebrugge 2007 - Marjanetten #2

Next month it's carnaval again :-) I'm hoping for a blue sky, like last year, to make lots a fun pics. I posted a similar image several months ago.


TECH-INFO: run through DxO Optics Pro as I always do, though the improvements were not so visible because the image from the camera was already very good.
In Photoshop I used the selective color tool to make the sky a bit darker. It's a very convenient tool. Just select the blues and increase the value of black, meaning you increase the black pigment of the blue colors if you would print it. Besides that I made the eyes and teeth very slightly lighter using the dodge tool.

These two people look suitably insane. I guess your carnaval is a lot like our Mardi Gras?

My old band booked a tour in Brazil during carnaval, but split up two months before we left. Sucked.
