Beautiful little child, just before getting baptized. She is an adorable little princess.
TECH-INFO: I was hanging above her with my on camera flash pointed straight up, so the light becomes spread out hence the ceiling acts like a giant soft box. I worked in iTTL mode but somehow each picture I made was underexposed. Luckily I shot in RAW (at that time I was always shooting JPGs except this case), so I could increase the exposure 2 stops during post processing. Probably you don't see it but she was laying in the sofa. I cloned away some part of the disturbing vertical sofa line at the right. Afterwards I added a big white vignette to make it dreamy and divine just like a real princess.
UPDATE: I submitted this image for the VFXY Theme New.

Very effective portrait. I'm sure her parents love it. Or is it your kid?
I can't really say I like this style of portraiture, but you know, it's seems to fit with infants okay. Technically I can see no flaws. The light is nice and soft. The vignette fits with this style pretty well. I may have feathered it a bit more but there's certainly nothing wrong with it the way it is.
LightningPaul: This style is indeed only for babies. If you use this technique you must be sure to be straight above the child. Most people tend to photograph from such an angle that you clearly see the bottom of the chin. This yields ugly images.
The parents are very happy. I was one the invited people. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
