Skeleton taking Bath

I saw this one in a museum. I could not resist to make an image of him. He is enjoying his bath so well that he totally forgot about time.

TECH-INFO: The object was behind glass and lighting condition were pretty poor. While leaning to the glass I managed to make decent shot. An aperture of f/11.0 would have been much better but my shutter speed was already 1/4s and the ISO400. The single RAW file is processed in DxO for white balance and to make two exposures with a two stop difference. Then I turned them into a HDR file and tone mapped it to get a maximum amount of detail. I set the Light smoothing control in Photomatrix on Low, which make texture really come out here. Afterwards I cloned away the visual part of a museum description label and a little glass reflection, darkened the background wall and lightened the white foreground.

Pretty scary one smile Great shot. What's the object's purpose?
LightningPaul: I'm not sure anymore. It is very very old an item of South America (or a replica).
