photoblog image Toddler freezing in Snow

Toddler freezing in Snow

Taken on December the 21st in 2007, in Zeebrugge. It has been snowing a couple of centimeters but only at the beach and the near surroundings. The other parts of Zeebrugge and the cities around were untouched. Very remarkable. Most people still hardly believe me. After two days all the evidents was melted.
For the little boy it was the first time he saw and realized what snow is. After investigating the structure and texture, he got tired and started to feel the freezing cold.

Originally I wanted to post this image in the middle of December but this weeks VFXY theme is now Winter.

TECH-INFO: as good as no post processing, except DxO lighting (as always) to boost the local contrast a bit and to crop it slightly. I used my Nikon 20-35mm lens, which performs super when used at 35mm. As good as no distortion and the images are crystal clear.

Kid looks miserable! Nice shot.
LightningPaul: He just got tired of playing with the cold snow. Luckily he has still lots of color on his face. Thanks for your comment.
Wonderful expression of this little guy !
LightningPaul: Indeed, you can really see how tired he became after playing with the cold snow.
