photoblog image Getting Married

Getting Married

Friends getting married. Taken during the ceremony in church. I was one of the many guests but I took my camera to shoot if something would be looking great. In this case I was lucky because I was sitting at the right angle to capture this emotional and beautiful moment.
The couple was very delighted with this image, especially I managed to deliver my shots before the wedding photographer gave his work. Of course the latter was far more complete and professionally publised.

TECH-INFO: just a JPG, slightly improved in DxO Optics Pro as always. I added white vignetting to make the happening more divine.

I've done my share of "Pro" wedding photographer, either on my own or as a stringer. It's a real beating.

It's much, much better to go as a guest like you did and get the shots.

Nice photo.
LightningPaul: Thanks. I heard similar stuff of other "Pro" wedding photographers. As guest I had no pressure at all smile

wonderful shot, the intense look of the couple in love, like the soft edges.
Beautiful capture.
LightningPaul: Thank you Astrid.
Beautiful, a very natural capture full of emotions.
LightningPaul: Many thanks Marta for your visit.
I've done a few weddings for friends and family and it is always more fun just as a guest taking what catches the eye rather than having to fit everybody in and "organise" things. This is a great picture Paul. Totally natural and one I'm sure they will treasure
LightningPaul: Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We gave the couple the picture framed in a specially made glass frame with a personal text. They are very happy.

It may have bee luck that gave you this angle, but the beauty of the shot is all your own. You should be pleased with the credit for this one, I can see why the couple was so pleased. Perfect timing and clarity! Great shot!
LightningPaul: I appreciate your comment a lot. I have to say, the couple is still very pleased (even after several months). Many thanks for your visit.
Wonderful! You 'clicked' at the right time smile
LightningPaul: A carefully planned accident ;-)
