Here you clearly see the beauty of this motor. I love the looks of the old rusty pipes, especially they contrast with some of the very shiny parts of the motor.
TECH-INFO: Just like yesterdays image: photomatrix for its local contrast/detail enhancements. It greatly shows the details and colors of the engine. Some vignetting added at the end.
What do you think of it? Which one do you prefer?

I prefer the b/w version for the authenticity. Qualitywise the second one has more detail and maybe just a bit too realistic. Guess it would be exactly the opposite if the motorbike was a shiny new plastic one
LightningPaul: Many thanks for your comment! Personally I both like them a lot I would not know which one to choose (hence I posted both of them).
The downside of the colour version is that the background is more distracting but it is nice to see the rust. I still can't make out the manufacturer's logo on the tank...it doesn't look familiar at all!
LightningPaul: Big thanks for your opinion and agree with you (background less good, rust better). I'm afraid I (still) can't help you finding out which type it is.
Some people left comments for you regarding the manufacture
Good shot but I definitely prefer the black and white version
LightningPaul: Thanks Chris for your vote

Especially for Mr.Bill Phillips:this is a Belgian motorcycle named FN (fabrique nationale) and produced until the fifties or sixties in Herstal near Liege. You see them always on motorhappenings in Belgium
LightningPaul: Many thanks for the very useful information!
