Last month we went to a wedding. On the opposite side of the city hall of Bonheiden (close to Mechelen, Belgium) is the cultural center. Its architecture was pretty interesting to see.
At first when we arrived we thought that this was the city hall :-)
CORRECTION: At first I have written that this was a library but it is not.
TECH-INFO: only took one quick RAW file, despites I'm normally a JPG shooter. In the original image the clouds were almost blown out and the building was looking rather very dark. Luckily there was enough detail in the RAW file, which is actually a Medium Dynamic Range format, to develop multiple exposure, merge them into a HDR file and finally tone map it so that all details get revealed. I also warmed the colors which suits the subject. I'm very happy with the result. Someone who loves this building will (or would) see a similar beauty.

I love the soft texture of this HDR, it looks like an idilic place... or maybe an artificial one, I don't really know but I like it
LightningPaul: When you like and love this building, you'll see something very similar, when you hate it, you'll just walk away and forget about it. I made texture and details stronger in this image by using HDR and tone mapping techniques. Similar as our brain would do. Many thanks for your comment and visit.
