RED is the new theme for VFXY. The whole Friday I was thinking what kind of image to make. Lots of ideas came into my mind like: tomatoes, red umbrellas, sunsets, apples, using flash gelled with flaming red, royal mail and many other crazy things. When I told my wife about the theme she spontaneously replied: "lips or heart". I immediately liked her idea about lips. The rest is history.

TECH-INFO: used two little umbrellas set up on a variation of beauty lighting. They were lit using speedlights.
A 50mm prime lens for extreme sharpness; I tried a few other (zoom) lenses but there was a surprisingly big difference in sharpness. Afterwards I did some post processing using Photoshop Elements to add the white vignet. This was the hardest part because I don't have any experience nor training how to use it.
