photoblog image Topiaires Park Durbuy (2 of 3)

Topiaires Park Durbuy (2 of 3)

Four happy dogs playing with the ball.

Some of the trees in the park are over 100 years old. There are more than 250 figures. For some of them it took 20 years to get their final shape.

TECH-INFO: because of the too high contrast I took five exposures and processed them with Photomatrix.

UPDATE: I also posted this image on Vazaar, see here for the topic Green. And also used for the VFXY theme Green.

LOL, low maintenance pets!
LightningPaul: LOL smile Thanks Martin for stopping by.
I'm fan of Photomatix. I believe that it is a program of many resources. I believe that you have used here it very well. I like the oblong composition!
LightningPaul: I discovered the program two months ago. I really love it to get/make nice contrasts in pictures which humans also see and experience. Sometimes I use it for more artistic reasons, though I mostly try to obtain a natural looking image. I have posted more HDR images on my blog and soon you may expect more of them. Thanks for the comment.

I've never used photomatix, but one of these days I think I shall have to have a go. I really like the warm summery glow you have here, it goes really well with the playfulness of the image.
LightningPaul: It's a nice program with lots of possibilities. Though many options, which nobody can really explain. Just spend a few days experimenting and you'll feel what the controls may do to your image. Thanks for the comment.

I like the strong green colours on the picture.
