Taken at the yearly fireworks festival, and competition at the same time, in Knokke-Heist. This is by a team from Canada. They won the festival.
TECH-INFO: first trying to grab a nice place to stand. I had some people standing in front of me. They give a sense of scale and add to the atmosphere we all experienced during the festival. I used a tripod with cable release. I pressed the release button as long I felt it needed to be. So I manually measure the amount of light by watchting the fireworks. It takes some practice in the beginning but after a while you easily take (many) good exposures while watchting and enjoying the show.
